GPA Photo.com
We have utiliezed 'rocket science' at NMV with some interesting Flash® tricks, programmed by Tim Silva for the website www.gpaphoto.com. The site utilizes a database that allows access to view over 150 photographers all over the world and their individual sample portfolios. Truly 'rocket science' which is invisible to the user of the service. Updates are done via X/Y coordinates for cities and positioning of the link. The site pushes the envelope of Flash technology and scripting, making the users experience just that much better.

NMV builds new FTP server
With the growth of catalog and CDROM production, we have had to install new systems for the ease of clients data-transfer. One of those ways is a new FTP server. This allows our clients to upload/download files from anywhere in the world, securely and not bog-down email systems, while allowing many people involved to have access to important files. The server also allows the NMVinc. team the ability to work remotely (usually Starbuck's or other 'Hot-spots') and still feel like we're at the office. The type of use of technology can also be utilized for clients to help streamline your productivity. Lets us show you how technology can help you become more efficient and save money.

NMV donates newsletter design/production to Flycasters
With personal interest in flyfishing and conservation, Jeff Burkholder has volunteered NMVinc. to the design and monthly production of the Granite Bay Flycasters newsletter "The Leader". NMV has also redesigned the publication and 'raised the bar' for the club. Club president, Gary Flanagan said "The Leader is the key communications tool for the club, its professional look and readability has really taken the club to a higher level, it's great working with NMV and Jeff and thank all for their generous donation of time and service".
Jeff is also now more involved in the Granite Bay Flycasters, by being 'member at large' for the 2004-05 board term. "The club helps in so many ways in education and conservation for the sport and when I first learned to fly fish, by my grandfather when I was six, it was not so popular, now it seems mainstream and in need of great organizations like GBF" said Jeff.
